On the national project "Small and medium-sized enterprises and support for individual entrepreneurial initiatives" implementation, First Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Sibgatullin reported at the meeting of the State Council Committee on Economy, Investment and Entrepreneurship.

Rosstat is conducting a census of small businesses from January until April 1, 2021. The economic census of small businesses is conducted once every five years. In accordance with the law of Russia, participation in it is mandatory for representatives of small businesses.

Last week, the final event of "Innovative Business Navigator 2020-2021" project was held, where entrepreneurs from all over the country presented the best projects developed within the framework of the accelerator.

The National Rating Agency together with the National Association of Microfinance Market Participants (NAMMP) in 2020 launched a rating project to evaluate microfinance and microcredit companies. According to the results of the 4th quarter of 2020, the Entrepreneurship Support Fund (ESF RT), subordinate to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, took the second place among microfinance organizations for business, second only to the Krasnodar Territory.

The Business Support Fund, subordinate to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, announced the launch of the annual regional competition "Exporter of the Year". The competition is held jointly with the Union "Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan".

The traditional meeting of the working group on ensuring the sustainable development of the economy of the Republic of Tatarstan was held under the chairmanship of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan. One of the main topics of the meeting was the issue of informing the business about "FOT 3.0" new support program aimed at restoring enterprises of affected industries.

Over the past 5 years, the total amount of financing of projects of small and medium-sized businesses in single-industry towns with the support of AO "Corporation "SME" exceeded 63.3 billion rubles. The leading single-industry towns in terms of financial support were Naberezhnye Chelny of the Republic of Tatarstan – 9 billion rubles (328 transactions), and Yelabuga of the Republic of Tatarstan. 

The Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation informs that the Unified Portal of State and Municipal Services has started receiving statistical reports as part of the Economic Census of Small and Medium-sized Businesses for 2020. It is possible to provide electronic information about the main performance indicators for the past year in a simplified mode.

Tatarstan entrepreneurs are invited to participate in a training webinar on the basics of selling on eBay. The event will be held within the framework of the program for export sales development and of small and medium-sized entrepreneurship through eBay promotion, launched by the Export Support Center of the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the eBay marketplace and the ZoneSmart integrator company.

A round table on the topic "Innovations: Anti-crisis development strategy" was held in Khimgrad technopolis. Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Dinar Shakirov made a report on measures to support innovative entrepreneurship and improve the business climate in Tatarstan.
