Economic census of small and medium-sized businesses launched on Portal of Government Services

The Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation informs that the Unified Portal of State and Municipal Services has started receiving statistical reports as part of the Economic Census of Small and Medium-sized Businesses for 2020. It is possible to provide electronic information about the main performance indicators for the past year in a simplified mode.

Sending information is available for both individual entrepreneurs and legal entities.

"The reception of reports on the Portal of Government Services will take place until April 30, 2021 inclusive. Users are guaranteed confidentiality: information is used in a generalized form, personal data is depersonalized," said Oleg Kachanov, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Finance of Russia.

After checking the data, the user will be sent a decision — either the report is accepted or it needs to be finalized. The notification will be sent to a personal account of Portal of Government Services. Information about processing statuses will also be displayed there. One can view or download the completed form and the notification of the verification result on the portal.

The economic census of small and medium-sized businesses is held once every five years. Business support measures are developed based on the census data.
