Last week, the final event of "Innovative Business Navigator 2020-2021" project was held, where entrepreneurs from all over the country presented the best projects developed within the framework of the accelerator.
The expert jury evaluated the presentations and determined the winners who will receive cash grants for the implementation of their ideas. A project from the Republic of Tatarstan became one of them.
3 applications were received from the Republic of Tatarstan for participation in the project and all of them successfully passed the initial educational intensive acceleration program. Moreover, 2 projects – "Children's Sports Academy "Start" and the online exchange-aggregator of short – term rental services and special equipment "GetMeCar" demonstrated twofold average revenue increase and were invited to present their projects at the DemoDen in front of representatives of regional authorities, large businesses, potential investors and funds.
Besides, "Start" Children's Sports Academy from Nizhnekamsk took second place at the final event of the "Innovative Business Navigator 2020-2021" project and received a reward of 250 thousand rubles for further development and implementation of the business idea.
Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov delivered a welcoming speech at the DemoDen. He noted that for the Republic of Tatarstan, the tasks of developing the business environment, stimulating the processes of supporting entrepreneurship are among the key ones and he also expressed gratitude to the organizers of the "Innovative Business Navigator" program for the implementation of such initiatives.
"The activities of small and medium-sized businesses make a significant contribution to the development of the economy of the republic, the share of which in the gross regional product of the republic is more than a quarter. Thanks to the innovative business navigator, more and more entrepreneurs have the opportunity to take their business to a new level and improve their financial performance, thereby increasing their competitiveness," the minister said.
We remind you that "Innovative Business Navigator 2020-2021" is a large-scale social innovation project aimed at promoting the development of small and medium-sized enterprises, helping to optimize costs, increase competitiveness and increase capitalization through the implementation of various free training and acceleration programs. The project is implemented by the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
