Rosstat will conduct a census of small businesses until April 1, 2021

Rosstat is conducting a census of small businesses from January until April 1, 2021. The economic census of small businesses is conducted once every five years. In accordance with the law of Russia, participation in it is mandatory for representatives of small businesses.

It is important for the state to know how small and microenterprises, individual entrepreneurs operate, and what problems they face. Based on the information obtained during the economic census, government decisions and support programs will be made.

All small business entities included in the unified register of small and medium-sized businesses must submit reports on their activities for 2020.

Respondents can fill out the questionnaire in electronic form on the Unified Portal of Public Services (for legal entities – if there is a confirmed account and an electronic signature; for individual entrepreneurs – if there is a confirmed account); on the website of Rosstat (if there is an electronic signature); as well as at the operators of electronic document management until April 1.

If the questionnaire is filled out on paper, it must also be submitted in person or sent by mail to the departments (divisions) of state statistics in the districts and cities of Tatarstan at the place of enterprise activity by April 1, 2021.

The preliminary results of the economic census will be published at the end of the year, and the final results will be published in the first half of 2022.

The economic census of small and medium-sized businesses is conducted in accordance with the Federal Law "On the Development of Small and Medium-sized Businesses in the Russian Federation" dd. July 24, 2007, No. 209-FZ.
