On May 14, the Ministry of Economy held a meeting with a delegation from the Udmurt Republic, headed by the Permanent Representative of the Head of the Udmurt Republic to the President of the Russian Federation-Deputy Prime Minister of the Udmurt Republic M. V. Khomich and Deputy Director-Head of the Export Support Center of the Udmurt Republic V. M. Antonenko.

More than 120 thousand residents of Tatarstan have registered and are working as self-employed persons. To support this category of entrepreneurs, the Non-profit micro-credit Company "Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan" (hereinafter referred to as the Fund), together with the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, launched a special preferential micro – loan at a differentiated rate from 1/2 of the key rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation to 6 %. From June 1, it is planned to reduce the maximum rate for this product to the key rate of the Bank of Russia (5% today). Concessional financing is provided within the framework of "Small and Medium-sized Businesses and support for individual entrepreneurial Initiative" national project, which is aimed at providing comprehensive support to entrepreneurs and effective business management.

The preparation of draft regulatory legal acts for the implementation of federal laws regulating control and supervisory activities at the federal and regional levels was discussed on May 12, 2021 at the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event was held via videoconference as part of a meeting organized by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation on the implementation of the Action Plan of the executive authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation and local self-government bodies necessary for the implementation of the Federal Law "On State Control (Supervision) and Municipal Control in the Russian Federation" for 2021.

The practical work of Alisa Shakirova, young scientist from Kazan – "The effectiveness of social protection of the population as one of the factors of improving the quality of life" was among the winners in the All-Russian competition named after N. I. Kareev. The competition is held by the Faculty of Sociology and the Higher School of Modern Social Sciences of the Lomonosov Moscow State University. The goal is to develop the creative activity of young scientists, to involve them in solving urgent problems of modern sociology, to preserve and develop the unified scientific and educational space of Russia.

The Ministry of Economy has formed a traditional rating of socio-economic development of municipal districts and urban districts of the Republic of Tatarstan based on the results of the first quarter of 2021. 

The staff of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan expresses its deep condolences and support to the parents and relatives of the victims of the terrible tragedy in Kazan. We sincerely share the bitterness of the irreparable loss and mourn the victims.

Today, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov took part in the celebration of Victory Day in Zelenodolsk. The Head of the Ministry of Economy on behalf of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan congratulated veterans and residents of Zelenodolsk on the 76th anniversary Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Today, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov together with the head of the Zelenodolsk district Mikhail Afanasyev visited the veteran of the Great Patriotic War Mikhail Fedorovich Balakhonov and personally congratulated him on Victory Day. The veteran does not attend the Victory Parade for health reasons. During the war, he served in the Baltic Fleet.

Today, "Garden of Memory" International Environmental Campaign was held on the territory of the republic, which was dedicated to the celebration of the 76th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, within the framework of which the forest was planted. The campaign was organized by the "Victory Volunteers" and the Victory Generals Memorial Fund with the support of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation and the Federal Forestry Agency within the framework of "Ecology" national project.
