The delegation from Udmurtia studied the experience of Tatarstan on measures to support SME and promote e-commerce
On May 14, the Ministry of Economy held a meeting with a delegation from the Udmurt Republic, headed by the Permanent Representative of the Head of the Udmurt Republic to the President of the Russian Federation-Deputy Prime Minister of the Udmurt Republic M. V. Khomich and Deputy Director-Head of the Export Support Center of the Udmurt Republic V. M. Antonenko.
The event was chaired by Deputy Prime Minister-Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan M. R. Shagiakhmetov, the participants of the meeting were First Deputy Minister Rustem Sibgatullin, Deputy Director of the Department of Business Development and Competition Emil Khismatov, Head of the State Institution "Center for the Implementation of Programs for the Support and Development of Small and Medium-sized Businesses of the Republic of Tatarstan" Timur Gumerov, General Director of the NMC "Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan" Aidar Salikhov, Director of the "Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan" Rustem Mukhamedshin and other officials.
The parties exchanged experience in the field of support and promotion of e-commerce channels, including sales of products and goods, both on Russian and international marketplaces. They also discussed support measures for small and medium-sized businesses implemented in the republic in 2020 and support measures for 2021.
First Deputy Minister Rustem Sibgatullin spoke about the main areas of state support for Tatarstan business: microfinance, state guarantees and interest rate subsidies. Also, during the meeting, they shared their experience and mechanisms for restoring and strengthening the development of small and medium-sized businesses affected by the pandemic, and spoke about providing advice to entrepreneurs on business issues.
The meeting also included a presentation of the activities of "Agency for State Order of the Republic of Tatarstan" AO, which was presented by its head Yakov Geller.
Representatives of the Udmurt delegation showed interest in business support tools of the Republic of Tatarstan.
At the end of the meeting, the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov handed over a book written for the 100th anniversary of the Tatar ASSR "Tatar donyasy.Tatar World" to the Permanent Representative of the Udmurt Republic to the President of the Russian Federation – the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Udmurt Republic, Mikhail Viktorovich Khomich.
