The Head of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in the celebration of Victory Day in Zelenodolsk
Today, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov took part in the celebration of Victory Day in Zelenodolsk. The Head of the Ministry of Economy on behalf of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan congratulated veterans and residents of Zelenodolsk on the 76th anniversary Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
"On this bright day, we bow our heads low before the fallen heroes and victims of the war, pay tribute to the home front workers," he said.
A solemn rally was organized in Zelenodolsk. The memory of all those killed in action at the front line was honored with a minute of silence. At the end of the rally, a Victory Parade was held. A solemn march was held by the units of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the naval unit, cadets, young soldiers, students. In addition, wreaths and flowers were laid at the Eternal Flame Memorial.
Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Ildar Gilmutdinov, Deputy Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Yuri Kamaltynov, head of the Zelenodolsk district Mikhail Afanasyev also took part in the celebration.
