More than 120 thousand residents of Tatarstan have registered and are working as self-employed persons. To support this category of entrepreneurs, the Non-profit micro-credit Company "Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan" (hereinafter referred to as the Fund), together with the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, launched a special preferential micro – loan at a differentiated rate from 1/2 of the key rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation to 6 %. From June 1, it is planned to reduce the maximum rate for this product to the key rate of the Bank of Russia (5% today). Concessional financing is provided within the framework of "Small and Medium-sized Businesses and support for individual entrepreneurial Initiative" national project, which is aimed at providing comprehensive support to entrepreneurs and effective business management.

One of the recipients of financial support was a cheese maker from Tatarstan. The owner of a private cheese factory in the village of Alekseevskoye, Sergey Plotnikov, says that he started his business in the kitchen of an apartment with one pan and milk. He googled how to cook cheese, then bought raw materials. The first batch of cheese was eaten by the whole family, the second was posted on social networks for sale and it worked – people bought the cheese, and things started to look up.

At the initial stage, the young entrepreneur combined his hobby with work in the office. But with the growing number of orders, he decided to leave his job in a large company and devote himself entirely to cheese making.

Plotnikov notes the advantages of the status of a payer of the "Self-employment tax". First, it is the simplicity and transparency of administration. Secondlythe reduced tax rate.

"There are advantages, of course, the income tax is only 4%," he admits. – If you want, you can independently make insurance contributions to your pension, the Tax service itself calculates the amount to be paid, you do not need to fill out declarations, you do not need to have a cash register. In addition, microloans are available at a preferential percentage of the Fund for Business Development, without paperwork and unjustified refusals, also very quickly"

Cheesemaking recipes are collected all over the world. The simplest option is cream cheese with different fillers. Now he produces a wide range of products: from original author's to traditional cheeses. For example, cheese with fenugreek, which gives a nutty taste, with black cumin, with tomato, artisan cheese.

The received funds were used by the cheese maker to develop the business, which allowed to increase production volumes – he equipped the working room with water supply, bought the necessary equipment – pots and factory molds. In the future, Sergey dreams of opening a workshop, building a farm and having goats to use his own high-quality milk for the production of cheese.

Let us recall that according to the terms of the program, the loan rate for the self-employed is from 1/2 of the key rate of the Bank of Russia, established on the date of conclusion of the microloan agreement (when operating in single-industry towns of the republic), in the presence of pledged collateral, the rate is equal to the key Central Bank of the Russian Federation, effective on the date of conclusion of the microfinance agreement, in the absence of pledged collateral – 6%.

For citizens who meet the requirements of the program, up to 500 thousand rubles are available for a period of 3 to 24 months for any expenses justified by the borrowers, necessary for the implementation of activities, the income from which is subject to the "Self-employment tax".

Applications for micro-loans are accepted by the "Entrepreneurship Support Fund" subordinate to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan. The application can also be submitted through the "MPSC for Business" or regional representatives of the Fund, represented in almost all municipalities of the republic. Contact information for regional representatives can be found on the website https://fpprt.ru/ in the My Business Center section.
