First Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Sibgatullin met with the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Crimea Dmitry Sheryako in the framework of the XII The International Economic Forum "Russia – the Islamic World: KazanSummit 2021". The delegation visited the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, subordinate to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The development of the halal market of products and services, the growth of export volumes, Islamic mortgages, youth diplomacy, as well as the digitalization of the economy were the main topics of the XII International Economic Summit "Russia – the Islamic World: KazanSummit2021", which started on July 28 in Kazan. The guests of honor of the forum were the Minister of Economic Development of Russia Maxim Reshetnikov and the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The Fund for the Development of Single-industry Towns (VEB Group.RF) will issue a loan to the company for the production of industrial refrigeration equipment "Smart Machines" from Nizhnekamsk, the Republic of Tatarstan. The amount of the Fund's money will amount to more than 240 million rubles. As a result of the implementation of the investment project, 300 new jobs will be created.

Today, more than 134.5 thousand self-employed people are registered in Tatarstan. Over the entire period of the special tax regime, the total income of Tatarstan's self-employed exceeded 27ю1 billion rubles.

Within the framework of internal restructuring programs, banks in the republic have satisfied 2332 applications from entrepreneurs in the amount of more than 21.7 billion rubles. Tatarstan businesses had the opportunity to apply for a suspension of their obligations for a period of no more than 6 months or a reduction in the amount of payments during the grace period until July 1, 2021, according to the recommendation of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.

In the Republic of Tatarstan, the number of jobs created by residents of industrial parks has increased by 4170 units since the beginning of this year and amounted to 38.626.

Since the beginning of 2021, the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, subordinate to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, has issued 44 microloans for the business development of the self-employed. This was announced by the head of the Microfinance Center of the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan Vyacheslav Solovyov.
