The resident of PSEDA "Nizhnekamsk" will receive 240 million rubles from the Fund for the Development of single-industry towns

The Fund for the Development of Single-industry Towns (VEB Group.RF) will issue a loan to the company for the production of industrial refrigeration equipment "Smart Machines" from Nizhnekamsk, the Republic of Tatarstan. The amount of the Fund's money will amount to more than 240 million rubles. As a result of the implementation of the investment project, 300 new jobs will be created.

"Thanks to the support of the Fund, a high-tech production of refrigeration equipment will be created in Nizhnekamsk. The first stage of the investment project implementation will give the city 300 new jobs. We want to focus on young personnel, we even have our own training program for highly qualified specialists. In the future, this will make it possible to increase the staff to 1000 people," commented Yuri Svetlichny, Director of Smart Machines, OOO.

At the expense of the MONOCITY.RF will purchase the necessary technological equipment, with the help of which single-door and two-door refrigerator cabinets will be manufactured in the production. According to the results of the investment project, the capacity of the enterprise will be 30 thousand refrigerators per year. The total cost of the investment project is more than 470 million rubles.

It should be noted that the company "Smart Machines" is a resident of the PSEDA "Nizhnekamsk". Earlier, the Fund for the Development of Single-industry Towns financed the construction of engineering and transport infrastructure facilities to the industrial park in the amount of more than 320 million rubles.

We recall that the Government of the Russian Federation in the framework of the reform of development institutions decided to liquidate the Fund for the Development of Single-industry Towns in 2021. To date, MONOCITY.RF continues to accept applications until the actual transfer of obligations to VEB. RF. Those projects that the Fund will not have time to finance will be submitted to the state Corporation for consideration.

For reference: OOO "Smart Machines" is a manufacturing company that will manufacture modern commercial refrigeration equipment with a full production cycle, a deep degree of processing of materials and components. The finished products of the enterprise will be sold in Russia, the countries of the Customs Union, Transcaucasia, Central and East Asia.
