Since the beginning of 2021, the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, subordinate to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, has issued 44 microloans for the business development of the self-employed. This was announced by the head of the Microfinance Center of the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan Vyacheslav Solovyov.
As part of the implementation of "Small and medium-sized entrepreneurship and support for individual entrepreneurial initiative" national project, affordable financial and non-financial support measures have been created and are being successfully implemented in Tatarstan, which allow attracting additional funds to the self-employed on favorable terms.
A financial instrument is gaining popularity – a "Self-employed" micro-loan, since the beginning of the year, the Microfinance Center of the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan has issued 44 microloans totaling over 6.3 million rubles. The implementation of the program allows payers of the "Self-employment tax" to attract additional financing on favorable terms, while commercial banks do not always satisfy the applications of the self-employed, not considering them as entrepreneurs.
It is worth noting that in order to make preferential microfinance available, starting from June 1, 2021, the maximum interest rate on the "Self-employed" microloan has been reduced to the key Central Bank of the Russian Federation-5.5%, previously the rate was equal to 6%.
Tatarstan self-employed people are also in demand for a number of non-financial services: assistance in placing their goods on marketplaces, financing participation in fairs and exhibitions, educational services. Since the beginning of the year, more than 1.300 self-employed people have already used the Fund's services.
"Tatarstan self-employed people spend the funds received from the Fund on the purchase of equipment, purchase of raw materials and goods, construction materials, special equipment. The largest volume of preferential microloans is attracted by the service sector – the self-employed open hairdressers, flower studios, become taxi drivers, even provide marketing services," said the head of the Microfinance Center of the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of TatarstanVyacheslav Solovyov.
23-year-old self-employed Ilyuza Khaliullina registered as self-employed a year ago. She opened a flower studio "Ne sluchainosti". The girl collects flower arrangements and bouquets for sale. The self-employed received a preferential micro-loan in the amount of 200 thousand rubles from the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of Tatarstan. For this amount, she rented a room, made repairs there, bought special refrigeration equipment for storing goods and bought flowers in bulk. According to the self-employed, in two months she managed to recoup the loan, she even made a profit.
"I like to work with flowers, this is my hobby, I watched video lessons on Youtube, took courses in floristry and realized that I want more – to develop my own flower business. At first I worked at home, now I have opened a studio. Orders are sent via Instagram. I did it all right! Those 200 thousand rubles received from the Tatarstan Entrepreneurship Support Fund paid off in just 2 months. I can say that I am now making profit. The most important thing I want to wish everyone who wants to start their own business is not to be afraid! Go ahead!", - sharedIlyuza Khaliullina.
Khaliullina plans to scale the business – to become an individual entrepreneur. After all, there are so many orders that there are not enough hands – you need to hire one more employee, register your trademark. She is sure that everything will work out, because the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan has programs for entrepreneurs at all stages of development.
Let us recall that more than 134.5 thousand people are registered as self-employed in the republic. This status makes it possible to receive state support within the framework of the national project.
Micro-loan is available for individuals who are not individual entrepreneurs and apply a special tax regime – "Self-employment tax". At the same time, the borrower must be registered in the status of self-employed for at least 6 months, have registration on the territory of Tatarstan, the age of the borrower at the time of repayment of the microloan should not exceed 65 years. For citizens who meet the requirements of the program, up to 500 thousand rubles are available for a period of 3 to 24 months for any costs justified by borrowers necessary for business development.
To obtain microfinance, it is necessary to have a business plan, specialists will conduct a marketing analysis and check the borrower's credit history.
