Applications for the Start-Digital Technologies-1 competition (turn 2) are being accepted on the website of the Innovation Promotion Foundation until February 24. Individuals and legal entities, small business entities, can participate in it.

Rustem Mukhamedshin, Director of the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, took part in a large–scale event - the strategic session of the Association of Small and Medium-sized Businesses of the Republic of Tatarstan, which took place on January 30, 2026 in Kazan at the Entrepreneur's House. 

The Russian Export Center (REC) has opened its representative office in the Republic of Tatarstan. This was stated by Veronika Nikishina, General Director of the REC, at a meeting with the head of the region, Rustam Minnikhanov, in Kazan.

On the eve of the plenary session of the All-Russian conference "Made in Russia. Chosen in the world" Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov spoke about the export potential of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The results of the work of the regional Export Support Centers (ESC) for 2025 were summed up in Kazan. The Russian Export Center (REC, VEB.RF Group) identified the regions with the most effective export support system for small and medium-sized businesses, of which the ESC of Tatarstan was among the top ten. The republican representative office also became the leader in the nomination "The widest geography of SME exports".

Over the past year, more than 20,000 entrepreneurs, as well as individuals, have taken advantage of non-financial state support measures for small and medium-sized businesses to open and develop their own businesses.

The volume of purchases by government customers from the self-employed of Tatarstan within the framework of 223-FZ by the end of 2025 amounted to more than 145 million rubles. This is almost 43 million rubles more than in 2024. At the same time, the number of self-employed people who signed contracts increased by almost 66% over the year, totaling about 220 suppliers.

Today, on February 4, 2026, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Minister of Economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, arrived on a working visit to the Apastovsky municipal district.

Projects with a total investment of more than 200 million rubles were considered at a meeting of the commissions for reviewing applications for concluding an agreement on activities in the priority development territories of Naberezhnye Chelny and Zelenodolsk. The meeting was chaired by Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan.
