A meeting of the working group on ensuring the sustainable development of the economy of the Republic of Tatarstan was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov.
The meeting of the working group was attended by representatives of ministries, departments, territorial bodies of federal authorities, municipalities and the business community of the republic.
The meeting discussed the issues of adaptation of Tatarstan's business to changes in tax legislation in municipalities, the results of work on the platform of the Republican Marketing Center of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as the status of work of municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Unified Approval Cabinet.
Natalia Kondratova, First Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, Director of the Entrepreneurship Development Department, spoke about the work on business adaptation to tax reform.
The Deputy Minister noted that by the end of January-March of this year, the growth rate of the number of SMEs was 104.1% compared to the same period of the previous year.
Natalia Kondratova also recalled the support measures provided to businesses affected by the tax reform. Among them is a service for providing free access to a reporting service, a professional development service for employees, as well as a service for financing business advertising support.
Midkhat Shagiakhmetov recalled that SMEs must submit tax returns by April 27 and pay tax charges by April 28, and noted the need to provide assistance to enterprises that are faced with new forms of VAT reporting.
Regarding the dynamics on the RMC platform, the minister stressed the importance of using this resource as a sales market tool for republican enterprises and the need to involve them in the platform's activities in order to provide companies with demand for products and increase the industrial production index.
Based on the analysis of cooperative relations between commodity producers, the RMC allows businesses to participate in the supply of large enterprises, including import-substituting products. The center has been operating since May 5, 2019, and its goal is to provide Tatarstan entrepreneurs with income from the supply of products obtained from fulfilling government orders, as well as to promote goods produced in the region.
Also, regarding the effectiveness of the Unified Cabinet of Approvals, the Minister noted that the issue is under the personal control of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov. As part of the upcoming report on the results of the first quarter, Rais will be provided with detailed information on the work in the system, including in the context of municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Unified Approval Cabinet (UAC) is an electronic platform created in the Republic of Tatarstan to optimize the procedures for technological connection to engineering infrastructure networks (electricity, gas, water, sanitation, heat supply and other resources). The system is aimed at reducing the time of service provision, simplifying interaction between authorities, resource supply organizations and businesses.
