The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan will hold a large-scale online forum for business with participation of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov on the Day of Russian Entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurs, experts and analysts from all over the country will meet in one place, and throughout the day they will share their experiences, working cases and useful practical information about doing business in a crisis.
The crisis in the economy has stimulated the steady growth of online commerce. Over the past 3 months, the number of republican suppliers and the volume of their sales on online platforms: Ozon and KazanExpress - increased 1.5 times, while on the Wildberries online site, sales of suppliers from Tatarstan increased 3 times. Representatives of the above companies, within the framework of the videoconferencing meeting with members of the working group on ensuring sustainable development of the economy of the Republic, spoke about the benefits of working on sites, the basic conditions for cooperation as suppliers and promoting products through marketplaces.
The Republic of Tatarstan occupies one of the leading positions in the Volga Federal District in the number of registered non-profit organizations (hereinafter - NPOs). So, 5,847 NPOs were registered in the Republic of Tatarstan as of January 1, 2020. Today, socially oriented NPOs, along with the affected sectors, have been granted a deferment in tax and insurance contributions, a deferred lease and a soft loan at 2% per annum.
Construction of the Saba industrial park was completed in Tatarstan, 307.2 million rubles from the federal and republican budgets were allocated for the project, and private investment of 77.2 million rubles was attracted. The construction of the park was made possible thanks to the national project “Small and Medium-sized Enterprises and Support for Entrepreneurial Initiative”, according to which it is necessary to provide preferential access for SMEs to production facilities and premises.
The Republican Marketing Center (RMC) was established on May 5, 2019. Over the year, more than 3,700 organizations received revenue through the procurement module of the Center. As part of implementation of the National Project “Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises and Support of Individual Entrepreneurship Initiatives”, the “My Business” Center was established in 2019. Since the beginning of 2020, the Center has provided more than 6,100 services. During the period of quarantine measures, the Center continued to support both individuals and entrepreneurs, but already in terms of issues related to anti-crisis measures. Also, for quick adaptation of the business to current conditions, online master classes are organized where entrepreneurs receive practical skills to overcome the crisis.

The Ministry of Economy, together with the subordinate Center for Implementation of Support and Development Programs for SMEs and the Delivery Club ready-to-eat aggregator, launch a campaign that allows any Tatarstan citizen to receive a 10% discount when ordering ready-made meals from restaurants in the Republic. The discount is valid from May 18 according to the CRPP promo code. The campaign is aimed at supporting Tatarstan restaurateurs, who switched to delivery during the COVID-19 pandemic. Earlier, the Center launched a subsidy program for 100% of the costs of entrepreneurs engaged in the food and beverage segment related to the payment of commissions for food and meal delivery services.

The project aims to reduce administrative pressure on small businesses, prevent violations of supervisory requirements, and promote self-employment. “Verified Business” also gives you the opportunity to get free information and consulting assistance on the current legal field in the field of entrepreneurship and control and supervision, including expert explanations and applied instructions in these areas.
The regular videoconferencing meeting with representatives of the working group on ensuring sustainable development of the economy of the Republic under the coordination of Midkhat Shagiakhmetov was devoted to proposals for inclusion in the federal and republican action plans that will ensure the restoration of employment and incomes of the population, growth and long-term structural changes in the economy.
