The lending program aimed at maintaining employment - a loan at 2%, continues to demonstrate high demand from entrepreneurs of the republic. Over the past week alone, 125 loans were issued for 429 million rubles.

Federal Law No. 217-FZ of July 20, 2020 “On Amendments to Part Four of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation” adopted amendments, thanks to which applicants will be able to obtain patents in electronic form, as well as attach 3D models to materials when registering intellectual property.

The construction of a new plant for the production of smart TVs and a warehouse for finished products of Haier in Naberezhnye Chelny of the Republic of Tatarstan will be completed in the second quarter of next year. The total investment in the project will amount to almost 2.2 billion rubles.

The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted a weekly meeting on topic: “On implementation of the Action Plan to ensure the sustainable development of the economy of the Republic of Tatarstan in the context of the worsening situation due to the spread of a new coronavirus infection”. Members of the working group on ensuring sustainable development of the economy of the Republic, all municipalities of Tatarstan, representatives of relevant ministries and departments took part. The meeting was chaired by the Minister of Economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, who noted that the main task of the working group in implementation of anti-crisis measures is the timely delivery of assistance provided at the federal and republican levels to specific addressees.

In 2019, Tatarstan became one of four pilot regions to introduce a tax regime for self-employed citizens. Entrepreneurs of the republic appreciated the convenience and ease of doing business as self-employed, as evidenced by 72,624 citizens registered with this status. It should be noted that, starting from July 1, the special tax regime “Tax on professional income” is allowed to be introduced in all regions of Russia that were not previously included in the experiment.

Within the framework of restructuring programs, banks in the republic satisfied 2,040 applications from entrepreneurs worth more than 14.5 billion rubles. By the number of applications for restructuring received from small and medium-sized businesses, Tatarstan is among the top 10 regions in the country and takes 1st place in the Volga Federal District.

The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with a large representative of the e-commerce market Wildberries, prepared a training course “Welcome-training: how to build a business on the Wildberries marketplace” for Tatarstan entrepreneurs. The webinar will take place on July 27, 2020 at 11:00 a.m.

The best in six months was the implementation of the national project “Small and Medium Entrepreneurship and Support for Entrepreneurial Initiatives”.

Retail trade facilities and public catering establishments have started operating in Tatarstan since July 15. According to the data from the municipalities of the republic, the lifting of restrictions promoted the resumption of work of 8,482 enterprises, organizations and individual entrepreneurs with a total of 42,642 employees.

The Single-industry Towns Development Fund has expanded the list of types of collateral for soft loans up to 250 million rubles for SMEs. The Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan can also act as a guarantor for loans for entrepreneurs of the republic.
