More than 8,400 catering and retail outlets resumed work in Tatarstan

Retail trade facilities and public catering establishments have started operating in Tatarstan since July 15. According to the data from the municipalities of the republic, the lifting of restrictions promoted the resumption of work of 8,482 enterprises, organizations and individual entrepreneurs with a total of 42,642 employees.

“The opening of public catering establishments, as well as the provision of services to the population, presuppose close and long-term contact with visitors. Timely here is the launch of a new support measure from July 15 to provide subsidies to small and medium-sized businesses and socially oriented non-profit organizations for preventive and disinfection measures”, said Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov.

Let us recall that more than 11 thousand organizations and individual entrepreneurs can apply for subsidies for the purchase of disinfectants in the republic. Subsidies will be provided to those organizations whose activities involve close and long-term contact between staff and visitors (clients), and, accordingly, significant costs for providing preventive measures.

Thus, the measure can be used by non-profit organizations carrying out activities in the field of additional education, in sports and health sector, as well as organization of hotel business, catering sector, provision of personal services (repair, laundry, dry cleaning, services of hairdressers and beauty salons), sanatoriums - resort organizations. Since July 15, according to the municipalities of Tatarstan, 747 applications have been submitted to the tax authority from entrepreneurs to receive subsidies.

The amount of the subsidy is defined as the amount of funds for expenses in order to carry out preventive and disinfection measures:

- initial in the amount of 15 thousand rubles;

- and current ones, calculated as the product of 6.5 thousand rubles multiplied by the number of employees in May 2020.

Individual entrepreneurs without hired workers, in turn, will receive subsidies in the amount of 15 thousand rubles.

To receive a subsidy, you must send an application in electronic form to the tax authority or through the personal account of the taxpayer, applications for subsidies are accepted until August 15, 2020.
