In September, Sochi will host the Strong Ideas for a New Time forum, organized by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives. Applications for participation are accepted until August 24 on the ASI website.

Starting from July 15, a new support measure is being implemented in the republic to subsidize the costs of preventive and disinfection measures for small and medium-sized businesses, whose activities involve close and long-term contact between staff and visitors (clients). According to the municipalities of Tatarstan, at the end of last week, 6,852 applications were received from entrepreneurs for subsidies.

Federal Law No. 262-FZ of July 31, 2020 adopted amendments to the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, providing for the involvement of accredited organizations in conducting an information search and preliminary assessment of patentability as part of the examination of applications for inventions and utility models in essence.

More than 334 small and medium-sized businesses received financial support.

In connection with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic in order to maintain a full-fledged international level of scientific and business communication, the ERTIKO-ITS Europe Association and the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan decided to postpone the First Central-Eastern ITS Congress in Kazan from September 21-24, 2020 to September 19-21, 2022.

More than 26 million rubles of subsidies were received by Tatarstan entrepreneurs. The program implemented by the Ministry of Economy is aimed at reimbursing part of the costs associated with the payment of interest on loans, the total amount of which amounted to 6.17 billion rubles. It is worth noting that these funds are compensation for interest on the loan for the 2nd quarter of this year, entrepreneurs can use the subsidy program in the 3rd quarter, which will significantly reduce the loan burden.

The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted a weekly meeting on topic: “On implementation of the Action Plan to ensure the sustainable development of the economy of the Republic of Tatarstan in the context of the worsening situation due to the spread of a new coronavirus infection”. Members of the working group on ensuring sustainable development of the economy of the Republic, all municipalities of Tatarstan, representatives of relevant ministries and departments took part.

In pursuance of the instructions of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan R.N. Minnikhanov, the official delegation of the generic top-level domain (hereinafter - gTLD) “.TATAR” took place in August 2014.

In total, 130 projects from non-profit organizations of the Republic of Tatarstan were submitted for the competition.
