The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan held a weekly meeting of the working group on implementation of the Action Plan to ensure the sustainable development of the economy of the Republic of Tatarstan in the context of the worsening situation due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection. Members of the working group, municipalities of Tatarstan, representatives of relevant ministries and departments took part.

An important mechanism in the search for new markets and sales directions for the products of republican producers is the Export Support Center. The center provides comprehensive assistance at all stages of export activities - from developing a project roadmap to searching for foreign partners.

Deputy Minister of Economy Indira Kireyeva made a report at the visiting meeting of the Committee of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan on budget, taxes and finance on the issue “On effectiveness of providing regional tax benefits to residents of special economic zones”.

In order to implement the National Plan for the Development of Competition in the Russian Federation for 2018-2020, on October 01, 2020, the Department of the Federal Antimonopoly Service in the Republic of Tatarstan, together with the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, held a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan K.A. Tazetdinova.

3 schools and 8 kindergartens were opened in Tatarstan this year. These facilities were built as part of the implementation of the national projects “Education”, “Demography”, “Housing and Urban Environment”. Also, within the framework of the national project “Education” in 42 schools located in rural areas and small towns of Tatarstan, the material and technical base was updated.

In the Department of the Federal Antimonopoly Service in the Republic of Tatarstan, together with the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, a meeting of the working group of the republican commission for promoting competition was held. During the meeting, the topical problems of developing a competitive environment in the markets of the Republic of Tatarstan, the prospects for achieving key indicators of the approved Action Plan to promote the development of competition in the Republic of Tatarstan for 2019-2022, as well as current legislative changes in the sectors of the economy were discussed.

The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan has launched a program of support for entrepreneurs on “Subsidizing the interest rate”, which was included in an additional package of measures aimed at restoring and reviving the republic's economy. The acceptance of applications for the program approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan No. 875 dated September 28, 2020 starts from October 1, 2020.

4 regional projects supervised by the Ministry of Economy as part of implementation of the national project “Small and Medium Business and Support for Entrepreneurial Initiatives” have been fully implemented.

On September 22, the Ministry of Economy hosted a meeting of the working group on implementation of the Action Plan to ensure sustainable development of the republic's economy, chaired by Indira Kireyeva. During the meeting, issues of macro-forecasting and development of industrial infrastructure facilities were touched upon.

As part of the panel discussion “Capitalization of intellectual property: a request for radical action” of the online forum Kazan Digital Week-2020, Deputy Minister of Economy Indira Kireyeva took part and spoke about state support for the development of intellectual property in Tatarstan.
