During the implementation of the national project, 132 companies of the republic entered foreign market

An important mechanism in the search for new markets and sales directions for the products of republican producers is the Export Support Center. The center provides comprehensive assistance at all stages of export activities - from developing a project roadmap to searching for foreign partners.

The goal of the Center is to involve the business community in export activities and to support existing exporters.

During the implementation of the national project “Small and Medium Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives” with the assistance of the Center, 132 companies of the republic entered the foreign market, as a result of which contracts were concluded for the amount of 25.6 million US dollars. Including, following the results of 9 months of this year, 38 entrepreneurs concluded export contracts, thanks to the services received at the Center. Entrepreneurs of the republic export: food products, construction materials, medical products and much more.

The Center for Export-Oriented Entrepreneurs provides assistance in translating presentation and other materials into foreign languages. Support in bringing products in line with requirements necessary for the export of goods and placement on international electronic trading platforms. Entrepreneurs can get advice on foreign economic activity by engaging third-party specialized experts, support in organizing participation in exhibition and fair events in the Russian Federation and abroad, and other services provided by the Center. This year, 260 export-oriented entrepreneurs have applied for support.

In addition, for export-oriented representatives of SMEs, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan has developed a microfinance product “Development”, which was included in an additional republican package of support measures. According to the terms of the program for this group of recipients, the purpose of the loan should be the implementation of export activities. An entity can receive a microloan in the amount of 1 to 5 million rubles with a loan term of 3 to 24 months at an interest equal to half of the key rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.

Also, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with the largest e-commerce sites, conducts training for entrepreneurs of the republic on placement and sale of products on the Internet, allowing them to find buyers outside the republic and the country. The electronic commerce channel has become one of the most promising and effective tools for expanding sales markets in the international stage, especially during the crisis caused by the pandemic.

Let us recall that the Center has been operating since July 2012 and is a structural subdivision of the non-profit microcredit company “Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan” subordinate to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan.
