As part of the implementation of national projects in Tatarstan, a number of new socially significant objects were opened

3 schools and 8 kindergartens were opened in Tatarstan this year. These facilities were built as part of the implementation of the national projects “Education”, “Demography”, “Housing and Urban Environment”. Also, within the framework of the national project “Education” in 42 schools located in rural areas and small towns of Tatarstan, the material and technical base was updated.

By the end of 2020, it is planned to open 3 more kindergartens in which construction and installation work has already been completed, and by the end of the year, repair work will be completed in 2 centers for continuous professional development of teachers.

Also, as part of the implementation of national projects, the construction of 2 schools and 1 kindergarten is planned to be completed and put into operation in 2021.

In addition, in early September, an updated center for identifying and supporting gifted children resumed work in Kazan, as well as the overhaul of gyms in 6 secondary schools of the municipal districts of Tatarstan (Menzelinsky, Mamadyshsky, Kamsko-Ustinsky, Zelenodolsky, Alekseevsky, Arsky districts).

An open-type sports and recreation center was opened in Kazan in 2020. On the territory of which there is a football field measuring 94x49 meters, a hockey rink, a workout area and an athletics sector.

In Naberezhnye Chelny, an indoor swimming pool “Yubileiny” was opened ‒ the largest sports facility built in Tatarstan as part of the federal project “Sport is the norm of life” in 2020, in which more than 600 people will be able to swim a day. Also, a football arena and an indoor skating rink with artificial ice “KAMAZ”, where 700 children and adolescents will play, have begun their work.

Also, within the framework of the national project “Sport is the norm of life” in the village of Vasilyevo, Zelenodolsk district, 1 universal sports hall was opened, in Aksubaevo and Almetyevsk, 2 football fields with artificial turf and track and field athletics tracks were created and modernized.

The building of the neuropsychiatric boarding school, built according to the national project “Demography”, opened in the village of Novoye Churilino, Arsky municipal district of Tatarstan.

As part of the implementation of the national project “Culture” in Naberezhnye Chelny, a major overhaul of the puppet theater is underway, which is planned to be completed by the end of the year. In the municipal districts of the republic (Buinsky, Kukmorsky, Pestrechinsky, Tukayevsky, Cheremshansky districts) 5 houses of culture are under construction.

In 7 districts of the republic (Alkeevsky, Aktanyshsky, Alekseevsky, Baltasinsky Kukmorsky, Rybno-Slobodsky, Sarmanovsky districts), construction work of feldsher-obstetric points (FAP) has been completed, work is underway to draw up documents for obtaining a license to provide medical services. The construction of the Center for Pediatric Oncology, Hematology and Surgery is also underway in Kazan. These activities are carried out as part of the implementation of the national project “Health”.

As part of the implementation of the national project “Small and Medium Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives”, in 2020, production facilities were commissioned in the industrial park “Saba”, 13 new productions were launched at three reconstructed production facilities of the industrial park on the territory of Technopolis “Himgrad” (stage 1). Road and engineering infrastructure have been built in the Tyulyachi industrial park. Now the second stage of the project is underway to create an industrial park on the territory of Technopolis “Himgrad”.

In addition, construction and repair work is underway as part of the implementation of the national projects “Ecology”, “Safe and High-Quality Highways”, “Housing and Urban Environment”. Until the end of the year, it is planned to improve 52 objects of the urban environment (public spaces), to repair 268.4 km of regional roads and city streets, to build and reconstruct 12 treatment facilities, including 3 storm sewers (in Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny and Tetyushi), to reclaim 2 landfills (Sabinsky district, Nizhnekamsk district). In addition, the Menzelinsk landfill will be reclaimed in 2021.

The implementation of national projects in Tatarstan is proceeding according to the schedule. All planned works will be completed on time by the end of the year. Activities carried out within the framework of national projects are aimed at developing human capital and improving the quality of life of the population.

 In 2020, it is planned to allocate 31.6 billion rubles for the implementation of national projects:

- within the framework of financing agreements ‒ 26.9 billion rubles, including from the federal budget ‒ 23.1 billion rubles, from the budget of the Republic of Tatarstan ‒ 3.8 billion rubles;

- additional funds from the budget of the Republic of Tatarstan ‒ 4.7 billion rubles.

This year, the Republic of Tatarstan participates in the implementation of 50 federal (regional) projects, for the purpose of their implementation, 50 agreements were concluded between the executive bodies to achieve target indicators.
