The Ministry of Economy hosted a weekly meeting of the working group on implementation of the Action Plan to ensure the sustainable development of the economy of the Republic of Tatarstan amid a worsening situation due to the spread of a new coronavirus infection, volatility in oil prices and the dollar exchange rate.

Measures of state support for entrepreneurship of the Republic of Tatarstan were discussed today at a press conference at the Tatar-inform news agency. Aidar Salikhov, General Director of the Non-Commercial Microcredit Company “Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan”, addressed the journalists.

More than 8,600 entrepreneurs of the republic have used over 20,000 services of the “My Business” Center. A meeting of the working group No. 1 on attracting federal funds to the economy of the Republic of Tatarstan was held in Kazan. The working group is headed by the Deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Marat Bariyev.

The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan has formed a monthly rating of the socio-economic development of municipal regions and urban districts of the Republic of Tatarstan for January-October 2020.

The Ministry of Economic Development together with the Association of Clusters and Technoparks presented the IV rating of the investment attractiveness of special economic zones (SEZ). In 2020, the rating included 16 SEZs from 12 regions of Russia. Experts have identified the best industrial-production and technology-innovation zones of the country.

The construction of five production facilities in the industrial park on the territory of Technopolis “Khimgrad” is underway. The work is carried out within the framework of the implementation of the national project “Small and Medium Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives”.

On December 4, the SELF-EMPLOYED All-Russian online forum will take place. The event will bring together representatives of federal and regional authorities, experts in the field of business, taxes, jurisprudence, who will help the participants understand the legal and financial aspects of the new tax status.

Starting from December 1, the acceptance of applications for the microfinance product “Self-employed”, developed by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan to support payers of the “Professional Income Tax”, will start.
