Rating of socio-economic development of municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan for January-October 2020

The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan has formed a monthly rating of the socio-economic development of municipal regions and urban districts of the Republic of Tatarstan for January-October 2020.

In the overall ranking for January-October 2020, Kazan (1st place), Almetyevsky (2nd place) and Tukayevsky (3rd place) municipal regions took the leading positions.

Zelenodolskiy municipal region rose in the ranking by 6 positions, Chistopolskiy - by 4. These changes are due to a decrease in the unemployment rate.

In per capita terms, the volume of shipped products on average in the republic amounted to 554 thousand rubles, among the municipalities of the republic the highest results in this indicator are in Almetyevskiy (3313.0 thousand rubles), Nizhnekamskiy (1364.5 thousand rubles) and Elabuzhskiy ( 1236.5 thousand rubles) municipal regions.

As of November 1, 2020, the registered unemployment rate in the republic was 3.37%. In 40 municipalities this indicator is below the national average.

The lowest unemployment rate was registered in Aktanyshskiy (0.33%), Atninskiy (0.46%) and Alekseyevskiy (0.51%) municipal regions.

In January-October 2020, 0.577 square meters of total housing area per capita was commissioned in the Republic of Tatarstan. The largest area was commissioned in Pestrechinskiy (4.518 square meters), Laishevskiy (3.309 square meters) and Tukayevskiy (2.983 square meters) municipal regions.
