Starting from December 1, the acceptance of applications for the microfinance product “Self-employed”, developed by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan to support payers of the “Professional Income Tax”, will start.

The number of Tatarstan self-employed people has reached almost 100 thousand people over the two years of the regime. As a reminder, in 2019, Tatarstan became one of the four pilot regions of the country to introduce a special tax system for self-employed citizens. Thanks to the regime, the inhabitants of the republic were able to legalize entrepreneurial activity with minimal costs for themselves.

According to the terms of the product, a microloan can be obtained by individuals who are not individual entrepreneurs and who apply a special tax regime - “Professional income tax”. At the same time, the borrower must be registered in the status of self-employed for at least 6 months and choose Tatarstan as the territory for doing business, the borrower's age at the time of loan repayment must not exceed 65 years.

For citizens who meet the requirements of the program, up to 500 thousand rubles are available at 6% per annum for a period of 3 to 24 months for any costs justified by the borrowers necessary to carry out activities, the profit from which is subject to “Professional income tax”. In addition, the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan provides a guarantee in the amount of up to 50% of the microloan amount.

Applications for microloans from December 1 are accepted by the Entrepreneurship Support Fund subordinate to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan. An application can also be submitted through the MFC for Business or regional representatives of the Entrepreneurship Support Fund, represented in almost all municipalities of the republic. Contact information for regional representatives can be found on the website https://fpprt.ru/ in the “My Business” Center section.
