Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy Midhat Shagiakhmetov, within the framework of KazanSammit-2022, held a business meeting with the leadership of the Turkish Small and Medium Enterprise Development Organization (KOSGEB), the parties discussed issues of developing and supporting entrepreneurship and outlined steps to further strengthen cooperation.

Within the framework of the XIII International Economic Summit "Russia-Islamic World: KazanSummit 2022", taking place these days in Kazan, business support infrastructures of Turkey and Tatarstan signed a joint action plan for the development of entrepreneurship of both parties.

Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Dinar Shakirov made a presentation on the experience of the Republic of Tatarstan in the development of intellectual property, management of scientific research and commercialization of scientific activities at a special session of Rospatent "Patent Analytics for the benefit of cooperation between Russia and the OIC countries and the implementation of the scientific and technological development program of the Islamic world" STI Agenda 2026” as part of KazanSummit 2022.

During a working visit to the Innopolis SEZ of the Republic of Tatarstan, Minister of Economic Development of Russia Maxim Reshetnikov was presented with new promising projects of a special economic zone. Among them are the Data Processing Center, a robotic hotel, a high-tech production park in the Verkhneuslonsky district, and an industrial park in the Laishevsky district.

The number of registered self-employed continues to grow in Tatarstan. Since the beginning of 2022, their number has increased by more than 22 thousand people and reached 191.4 thousand. The growth is justified by the simplicity of the regime, broad support from the state and a low tax rate.

Midkhat Shagiakhmetov held a meeting of the working group with the participation of sectoral ministries, the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan, JSC "Agency for the State Order of the Republic of Tatarstan" and construction industry organizations. The key issue of the meeting was the development of construction industries and housing and communal services of the republic in the face of sanctions pressure.

Rustem Sibgatullin, First Deputy Minister of Economy of Tatarstan, paid a working visit to the industrial parks of the Arsky and Vysokogorsky regions of the republic. During the visit, representatives of the Ministry of Economy held a meeting with current and potential residents and assessed the need for the construction of engineering infrastructure facilities, applications for which were received from the management companies of industrial parks.

The Entrepreneurship Support Fund, subordinated to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, invites entrepreneurs of the region to take a survey and answer questions aimed at improving existing business support tools.

Midkhat Shagiakhmetov held a meeting of the working group with the participation of municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan. The members of the working group discussed the work in the main areas of ensuring sustainable economic development, as well as measures and support tools aimed at reducing sanctions pressure.

During the two months of the moratorium, the number of inspections of republican enterprises by regional and municipal control bodies has decreased by 11 times compared to January-February of the current year. At the same time, since March 10 - the date of the introduction of the moratorium - there have been no complaints about its violation in the Republic of Tatarstan. This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov.
