Within the framework of the XIII International Economic Summit "Russia-Islamic World: KazanSummit 2022", taking place these days in Kazan, business support infrastructures of Turkey and Tatarstan signed a joint action plan for the development of entrepreneurship of both parties.
The Organization for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises of Turkey (KOSGEB) and the regional Entrepreneurship Support Fund subordinate to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan signed in Kazan a plan of interaction between the parties, which provides for joint activities to support and develop business.
The plan will strengthen the already close trade and economic relations between Turkey and Tatarstan, will allow the exchange of experience and solutions aimed at supporting entrepreneurial activities, which play an important role in ensuring national economic prosperity and international trade. The joint action plan was formed taking into account the needs of SMEs and is aimed at addressing them, building new cooperative ties between Turkey and the Republic of Tatarstan.
The document was signed by President of KOSGEB Hasan Basri KURT and Director General of the Tatarstan Entrepreneurship Support Fund Aidar Salikhov.
“The document will allow us to share knowledge and experience in improving the institutional infrastructure and support mechanisms to improve the performance of SMEs, to take joint steps towards the development of bilateral cooperation,” concluded Hassan Basri KURT, President of KOSGEB.
“The plan is designed to strengthen business ties. The parties are ready to provide the necessary assistance in the development of mutual trade and economic relations, expansion of markets for entrepreneurs' products and the search for new areas for further cooperation, the formation of a favorable investment climate in Turkey and our republic,” commented Rustem Sibgatullin, First Deputy Minister of Economy of Tatarstan.
Note that the Republic of Turkey is one of the main foreign partners of Tatarstan. A number of large Turkish companies have chosen the republic as a place for the implementation of investment projects and localization of production. The signing of the document will strengthen the interaction between Turkish and Tatarstan business partners.
The Organization for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises of the Republic of Turkey (KOSGEB) was created in 1990 as a state-owned one. Its main task is to develop a state policy in the field of entrepreneurship and comprehensive assistance in the development of SMEs in Turkey, including on the basis of an analysis of national and international experience.
