To popularize entrepreneurial activity and create a positive image of an entrepreneur among children and youth, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan jointly with the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Tatarstan plans to implement a career-oriented project this year for 12 thousand schoolchildren of the Republic of Tatarstan, including those studying in rural schools and small towns in the region.

Taking into account the measures taken by enterprises to establish new cooperative ties, rebuild supply chains, search for new sales markets, as well as the use of government support measures, the GRP of the republic is estimated at 106.5% for four months, said the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov at a meeting in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan, which was held by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

The retail trade turnover of the Republic of Tatarstan in April of this year decreased by 10% compared to last year, said Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov at a meeting in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan, which was held by the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

In total, entrepreneurs in the republic submitted more than 4 thousand applications worth about 53 billion rubles, of which more than 1.6 thousand applications were approved for a total amount of about 29 billion rubles. Tatarstan lowered the interest rate on microfinance products for business. The initiator of the changes was the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan in response to the wishes coming from the entrepreneurs of the republic and the reduction of the key rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation. The initiative was supported by the President of Tatarstan Rustam Nurgalievich Minnikhanov at a meeting with businesses dedicated to the Day of Russian Entrepreneurship.
