GRP of the Republic of Tatarstan for 4 months amounted to 106.5%
Taking into account the measures taken by enterprises to establish new cooperative ties, rebuild supply chains, search for new sales markets, as well as the use of government support measures, the GRP of the republic is estimated at 106.5% for four months, said the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov at a meeting in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan, which was held by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
The Minister recalled that the Federal Government Commission adopted 7 packages of federal support measures as part of the plan of priority actions to ensure the development of the Russian economy in the face of external sanctions pressure. The Government of the Republic is also implementing a plan of key measures to ensure the sustainable development of the economy of the Republic.
“Taking into account the measures taken by enterprises to establish new cooperative ties, rebuild logistics chains, search for new sales markets, as well as the use of government support measures, the GRP of the republic is estimated at 106.5% for four months,” said Midkhat Shagiakhmetov.
According to him, positive dynamics was observed in such sectors as oil production, energy, construction and agriculture.
At the same time, in April, the GRP growth rate slowed down and amounted to 100.2% compared to the same month last year.
“This is due to the decline in manufacturing and retail trade in April,” the minister said.
The greatest impact on the decline in industrial production in April had: a 10% decline in oil refining, the share of which in the industrial structure is 21.5%; decrease in the production of motor vehicles - by 27%, the share in industry - 11%; decrease in the production of rubber and plastic products by 12%, the share of which is 4%.
“Improving the stability of the economy in the current conditions should be based on backbone enterprises that form half of the gross regional product of the republic,” said Midkhat Shagiakhmetov.
He stressed that the sectoral ministries and enterprises need to continue the effective use of existing support measures in order to ensure smooth operation.
“First of all, such support measures are provided to enterprises included in the federal list of backbone organizations. According to the results of the meeting of the Government Commission this week, another organization of the republic, Kazanexpress, was included. In total, we have included 60 enterprises and organizations of the republic today,” the minister said.
