The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan will teach entrepreneurial skills to 12 thousand schoolchildren of Tatarstan

To popularize entrepreneurial activity and create a positive image of an entrepreneur among children and youth, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan jointly with the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Tatarstan plans to implement a career-oriented project this year for 12 thousand schoolchildren of the Republic of Tatarstan, including those studying in rural schools and small towns in the region.

In May 2022, for students in grades 5-7, a qualifying stage is taking place on a business simulator developed in the Alabuga SEZ. The simulator will reveal the entrepreneurial abilities of candidates with the highest level of analytics, communication and command skills. This is an effective and objective method for identifying talent - on the one hand, it is an exciting game, on the other hand, it is a good way to develop entrepreneurial skills. As a result, out of 90,000 schoolchildren, 12,000 students will be selected who have demonstrated the best results for further participation in the career-oriented project "School Business Start".

The career-oriented project "School Business Start" will start in October 2022. Within the framework of the project, 12 thousand children who have passed the selection will become participants in a business game, the program of which consists of 4 information and game modules: “Entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial activity”, “Creating a business”, “Marketing and advertising”, “Business project” .

The result of the business game will be the selection of 600 best participants for the further formation of school companies that will continue their education. The training program will include theoretical and practical blocks on topics:

• "Generation of business ideas";
• "Marketing";
• "Finance";
• "Team building and personnel management";
• "Organization of production";
• Business Presentation Skills.

Within the framework of the Project, schoolchildren are provided with activities to support motivation and mastering practical entrepreneurial skills, including participation in the New Year's Charity Fair, with the opportunity to sell their products and services.

The result of the project will be the selection and awarding of the best school projects.

It should be noted that the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, starting from 2019, has been conducting information-game courses on the development of entrepreneurial skills among adolescents, the number of participants over this period has already exceeded 3,000 schoolchildren.

Activities for the development of entrepreneurial skills among children and youth are implemented through the national project "Small and Medium Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives".
