Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated entrepreneurs of the republic on their professional holiday
The House of Entrepreneurship became a platform where the festive events dedicated to the Day of Russian Entrepreneurship were launched. President of Tatarstan Rustam Nurgalievich Minnikhanov congratulated businessmen of the republic on their professional holiday.
Small and medium business is the basis of the economy that moves the republic and the country forward. The task of the authorities is to support this movement in all possible ways. This was stated by the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov at a meeting in honor of the Day of Russian Entrepreneurship.
“Entrepreneurs are our backbone. Our main task is to create a powerful middle class. Such people, capable and self-sufficient, have special qualities that allow them to take risks, take action and move forward. And our task is to support this movement,” Rustam Minnikhanov addressed the participants of the meeting.
It was supplemented by the director of regional development of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) Alexander Smekalin, who noted the high achievements of Tatarstan in supporting, developing entrepreneurship, and forming the best best practices replicated throughout the country.
“The entrepreneur has the will and the energy to change the life around him. And it's worth a lot. Of course, much depends on the communication between the authorities and businessmen. In such fruitful cooperation, something new, large and great can be born. And here Tatarstan demonstrates this symbiosis, this mutual understanding. And it shows the results that the whole country is equal to, ”concluded Smekalin.
The director of regional development of the ASI noted the high level of awareness of the business of the republic about the existing support measures - in general, it is above the national average. Entrepreneurs of the region effectively use the existing measures for business development.
Tatarstan was also recognized as a region with a low level of administrative pressure on business - the republic entered the top five subjects of the country in this indicator.
As part of the event, entrepreneurs of the republic presented their projects to the President of Tatarstan and talked about successful adaptation to new economic conditions caused by sanctions pressure - switching to Russian-made products, developing new niches vacated after the departure of foreign companies, and scaling up business.
The participants of the event also discussed the possibility of new forms of support for small and medium-sized businesses in the country and the modernization of existing tools, including a reduction in the interest rate on microloans, assistance in training in-demand personnel, and the creation of “preparation offices” for entrepreneurs planning to enter marketplaces.
The festive program in honor of the Day of Russian Entrepreneurship will be held in the republic until May 29. Residents and guests of the capital will be able to join the events on the streets of the city, attend master classes, purchase local products at the open market, enjoy Tatar cuisine and entertainment.
The events are held within the framework of the national project "Small and Medium Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives". The organizer of the festive program is the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan with the assistance of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan.
