On July 2, 2014 in Moscow in the Russian Government Analytical Centre the seminar concerning introduction of the Standard of development of the competition in subjects of the Russian Federation took place. The head of department on a competition policy of the Russian Government Analytical Centre T.A.Radchenko acted as the moderator of a seminar.

The Republic of Tatarstan on this action was presented by the head of development of the competition departament of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilyas Galimov.

From 8 to 10 of September, 2014 in Moscow in Expocentre the VIII International investment forum on real estate – PROEstate which organizers are the Ministry of Regional Development of the Russian Federation, Guild of Managing Directors and Developers will take place. The business program of a forum includes more than 30 specialized actions: conferences, panel discussions, master classes, round tables, presentations, meetings.

On July 2, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov accepted the proposal made by United Russia party members to top the party list at Tatarstan State Council election to be held on September 14, 2014. The proposal was made at a today’s forum of secretaries of primary divisions of Tatarstan regional branch of All-Russia political party "United Russia" at the Korston hotel.

The event of such format was held in Russian regions for the first time. The United Russia party has declared the year 2014 a year of “primary divisions”, meaning that the party focuses on the cooperation with its rank-and-file members, who work in their towns or villages.

The branch of Tatarstan United Russia party includes 134,550 members and 1,633 primary divisions, which is more than in any other Russian region. The party won 79 per cent of the votes at the last State Council election.

On July 3, 2014 in Republican agency on the press and mass communications "Tatmedia" the press conference devoted to competition of national social projects of municipal areas (city districts) the Republic of Tatarstan took place. The vice-chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Rimma Ratnikova and the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov participated in a press conference.

On June 26, 2014 in the State Duma of Federal Assembly of Russia the "Young Technicians and Inventors" conference dated for Day of the inventor and the rationalizer took place. The conference purpose is support of young inventors, increase of the status of the engineer and the inventor, and involvement the talented representatives of young generation to science and  design activity. At conference the competition results on scientific creativity of young inventors and technicians from the hole country were summed up, and also the presentation of the best projects and an awards ceremony of winners took place.

The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan prepared a monthly rating of social and economic development of municipal areas and the city districts of the Republic of Tatarstan for January-May, 2014. In the general rating for January-May, 2014 leading positions were taken by Kazan (1 place), Almetyevsky municipal area (the 2nd place) and Laishevsky municipal area (the 3rd place). For January-May, 2014 the greatest change of a place in a rating Alkeevsky (+8 positions) and Baltasinsky (+5 positions) municipal areas reached. These changes are caused by improvement of a number of indicators: decrease in level of the registered unemployment, increase of growth rates of the volume of investment into fixed capital (except of budgetary funds) and commissioning of houses.

On July 2, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a session of the Economic council under Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers on issues of energy saving.

Opening the session, Rustam Minnikhanov said that energy industry is the main economic sector today, and major work is done in the republic on modernization of energy facilities. However, the urgent problem is equipment depreciation. There are four producers of power and heat producers in Tatarstan, - OAO “Generation company”, “TGK-16”, Nizhnekamsk power station, and URUSSU state power station.

Rustam Minnikhanov said that in 2013, regional energy sector provided safe and reliable power supply. Workers of energy industry also fulfilled all tasks during preparation for summer Universiade 2013.

The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan within implementation of licensing of preparation, storage, processing and realization of scrap of ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals sums up the results in first half-year 2014. Today in the register of licenses 90 legal entities and the individual entrepreneurs who are carrying out activity in 324 points of preparation and processing of scrap of metals are registered. Thus distribution of places of their dislocation is traditionally attached to large industrial regions and railway stations. So, in Kazan 97 points of reception of scrap, in Naberezhnye Chelny – 44 points, in Almetyevsk and Almetyevsky municipal area – 21 points, in Nizhnekamsk and Nizhnekamsky municipal area -16 points are placed.

On July 2, 2014 in the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan the next operational meeting on a question of development of Industrial park "Chistopol" took place. The meeting passed in a videoconference mode with participation of representatives of JSC Himgrad, JSC Tatinvestgrazhdanproyekt, the Chistopolsky municipal area and other interested departments responsible for development of park.

On July 1, 2014 in the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan in a mode of a videoconference  a meeting of the Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Fareed Mukhametshin with deputies of the State Duma of Federal Assembly of Russia from the Republic of Tatarstan and heads of executive bodies of the government of the Republic of Tatarstan took place. The Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov made a speech  about the current situation on attraction of federal funds to economy of the republic. In the report the preliminary estimate of activity of the working groups headed by deputies of the State Duma, for the first half-year of the current year was given, expected volumes of receiving by the republic of federal funds in 2015-2017 were sounded.
