The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan together with Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan and the public youth organizations is preparing for carrying out a regional stage of the All-Russian competition "The Young Businessman of Russia — 2014". Event will be held in Kazan from September 1 to September 30, 2014 for selection of most successfully realized and perspective business projects for identification and encouragement of the active and gifted young people conducting business activity, and further participation to the All-Russian competition "The Young Businessman of Russia — 2014" which will take place in Moscow from October 16 to December 5, 2014.

The Business support Center of the Republic of Tatarstan participated in a meeting with businessmen from municipal regions of the southeast of Tatarstan in the Aktanyshsky municipal area. The purpose of a meeting was to find possibilities of development of the new directions of small and medium business in the Aktanyshsky area with the state support.

"China-Russia EXPO" started on June 30th of 2014 (hereinafter Exhibition).
Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Rogozin and Chinese vice Premier Wang Yang attended the ceremony.
"China-Russia Expo" - a large-scale platform oriented to demonstrate the production of competitive products and technological developments of Russian industrial companies and institutions, to present industrial and investment potential of Russian regions and to the development of bilateral cooperation projects and establishment of new contacts.
Tatarstan Export Support Center organized the participation of Tatarstan’s export-oriented enterprises in this Exhibition.

On July 4, 2014 in the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan the meeting in a video conferencing mode with municipal areas and city districts of the republic concerning work of the Automated information system of AIS MPS took place. In work of meeting the head of administrative reform department  of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Albina Gergert, the head of State Budgetary Institution Upolnomochenny MPS Natalya Barkova, representatives of the Ministry of informatization and communication of the Republic of Tatarstan, and also in a video conferencing mode representatives of 19 municipal areas of the republic and Executive committees of the city of Kazan and the city of Naberezhnye Chelny took part in meeting.

On June 28, 2014 the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin signed the Federal law No. 172-FZ "About strategic planning in the Russian Federation", adopted by the State Duma on June 20, 2014 and approved by the Federation Council on June 25, 2014. The federal law establishes legal bases of strategic planning in the Russian Federation, coordination of the public and municipal strategic administration and the budgetary policy, and also power of federal public authorities, public authorities of subjects of the Russian Federation, local governments and an order of their interaction with public, scientific and other organizations in the sphere of strategic planning.

Till July 6, 2014 in the Tsivilsky region of the Chuvash Republic traditional Tsivilsky Tikhvin fair takes place, in which dealers in products of national crafts, house utensils, big group of consumer goods, a livestock and a bird take part . Fair is a traditional event of the Chuvash Republic and passes on the historical Fairground near the Tikhvin female monastery. The enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan, wishing to take part are also invited to Fair.

In May, 2014 within working meetings of identification mission of the World bank as a part of the leading economist Alvaro Gonsalez and consultants Lawrence Kay and Tatyana Ponomareva and representatives of federal authorities discussion of mechanisms of development of the competition in subjects of the Russian Federation and in particular introduction of the Standard of development of the competition in subjects of the Russian Federation took place.

On July 4, at their meeting in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Director General of OOO “BioTechnologii” Aleksandr German discussed mutually beneficial cooperation and realization of investment projects.

To the point, in January Aleksandr German met with Tatarstan Minister of Economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov to discuss the investment project “Protein of Russia. High technology production of protein concentrate from oil plants” in “Chistopol” industrial park.

On July 3, 2014 the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers was devoted to questions of implementation of decrees of the President of the Russian Federation of May 7, 2012 No. 596-606 and to tasks of their further performance.  Prime minister Ildar Halikov, the First Deputy Prime minister of the Republic of Tatarstan  – the head of the republican working group Alexey Pesoshin, members of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan,  heads of the ministries and departments, federal structures, heads of municipal areas and city districts took part in meeting.

On July 4, 2014 the deputy minister of economy Artyom Zdunov answered the questions of Business Quarter edition which concerned an implementation of the pilot project on introduction of the Standard of development of the competition in the Republic of Tatarstan. The standard of development of the competition in subjects of the Russian Federation is developed in pursuance of the Plan of measures ("road map") "Development of the competition and improvement of an antimonopoly policy" (the order of the Government of the Russian Federation of December 28, 2012 No. 2579-r) and directed on formation of transparent system of work of regional public authorities regarding realization of productive and effective measures for competition development in interests of the end users of goods and services, subjects of business activity, citizens of the Russian Federation and society as a whole.
