Congratulation to JSC KNIAT

Today the Kazan scientific institute of aviation technologies (JSC KNIAT) marks the 55th anniversary of the creation.
By JSC KNIAT it was created in 1959 for the operational solution of technological and economic problems at the Kazan air enterprises. The task – to raise a technological level of the enterprises of an aircraft industry of the region, technology and helicopter engineering economy, to create systems of automation of productions, systems and control devices was set for institute.
For years of the work the institute took part in statement on production and development practically all known civil and military planes under the SILTS, TU brands, AN, MiG, SU, the YAK, let out in the country.
The technology of helicopter engineering always was priority activity of institute. In separate years in this direction about 70% of total amount of research and development were carried out. Within the scope of responsibility of institute fell all helicopter plants in Kazan, Moscow, Rostov-on-Don, Kumertau, Ulan-Ude, Arsenyev. The institute took part in works on statement on production of the helicopters Mi-4, Mi-6, Mi-8, Mi-26, Mi-28, Mi-38, Ansat, Ka-26 and their modifications.
From the moment of the basis of JSC KNIAT I introduced on the Kazan air enterprises various technologies on a wide range of the directions.
In 1997 with support of Fund of assistance to development of small forms of the enterprises in the scientific and technical sphere within the pilot federal program "Activization of Innovative Activity" at institute the Innovative and technological center JSC KNIAT is created.
In 2011 in JSC KNIAT as structural division of institute the Science and technology park of industrial technologies "The innovative and technological center "KNIAT" is created. Today on squares of science and technology park more than 80 residents the majority from which is small enterprises of a research and production orientation take place.
For years of existence of institute huge work was done and today JSC KNIAT is basic institute of the Republic of Tatarstan on problems of machine-building production. Today the main direction of work of institute is improvement of technological support of the enterprises of mechanical engineering at the level of development of optimum technological processes with use of the most progressive and economic equipment on technological repartitions of metalworking production.
