Non-profit organizations of Tatarstan can apply for a grant from the President of Russia Vladimir Putin.

On September 1, the winners of the regional stage of the All-Russian competition “Young Entrepreneur of Russia 2020” were announced in Kazan. The regional stage is supported by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Entrepreneurship Support Fund and the “Entrepreneurship Factory” project.

The Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan made a working visit to the Verkhneuslonskiy municipal district. During the visit, the Minister got acquainted with the activities of regional production enterprises and held meetings with their labor collectives.

Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov paid a working visit to Zelenodolskiy district. He visited Zelenodolsk Design Bureau, Joint-Stock Company, met with the labor collective of the enterprise, visited the M7 industrial park, discussed with residents the issues of supporting small and medium-sized businesses.

On August 24, the Ministry of Economy of Tatarstan launched additional measures to support business aimed at restoring and reviving the republic's economy. Today, a new approach has been formed to the selection and assessment of measures to support entrepreneurs, which will allow businesses to reduce costs when getting out of the current economic situation.

The new package of measures is designed for the widest possible audience of entrepreneurs. The recipients of support can be organizations from the real sector of economy operating in the sectors of agriculture, forestry, manufacturing, construction, information and communication and in other sectors of the economy. Also, support measures are aimed at university graduates, catering organizations, residents and management companies of industrial parks and sites, export-oriented small and medium-sized businesses, entrepreneurs who have loans in their portfolio aimed at investment purposes.

The following support measures are available for all of the above categories of SMEs:

New opportunities on promotion of products to the Russian and foreign markets, expansion of sales channels, reduction of transport and logistics costs through the entry of goods from local suppliers to online trading platforms are opening up for the producers of the republic. This year, the Ministry of Economy, together with major representatives of the e-commerce market, held 6 training webinars, in which more than 7 thousand Tatarstan entrepreneurs took part.

The Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov paid a working visit to the Tyulyachinskiy district, during which he got acquainted with the infrastructure opportunities for the entrepreneurs of the district and met with the labor collectives of the municipality.

The Entrepreneurship Support Fund, subordinated to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, issued the first microloan under the “Reset” program. The issuance of microloans at a preferential rate has been carried out since August 24 and has become available thanks to the package of support measures for SMEs developed by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and approved by the President of the Republic, aimed at restoring the economy of the Republic.

The Ministry of Economy of Tatarstan held a number of meetings of the working group this week, which includes representatives of districts, relevant ministries and departments, dedicated to the implementation of the Action Plan to ensure sustainable development of the republic’s economy.

Today, a Joint meeting of the Commission of the Presidium of the Regional Political Council of the “Edinaya Rossiya” party on assistance in informing and implementing national projects and Commissions in the municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan took place. Deputy Minister Airat Shamsiyev took part in the meeting on behalf of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan.
