Implementation of the national projects “Ecology” and “Demography” in municipalities was discussed today in Kazan
Today, a Joint meeting of the Commission of the Presidium of the Regional Political Council of the “Edinaya Rossiya” party on assistance in informing and implementing national projects and Commissions in the municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan took place. Deputy Minister Airat Shamsiyev took part in the meeting on behalf of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Within the framework of the meeting, the progress of the national project “Ecology” was considered. The Deputy Ministers of the relevant departments responsible for the implementation of this national project (the Ministry of Ecology, the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan) made presentations.
In 2020, 2,843.4 million rubles were allocated for the implementation of the national project “Ecology” in the Republic of Tatarstan, 1,245.2 million rubles of which were received, 825.3 million rubles were spent as of August 25, 2020.
Within the framework of the national project “Ecology” 6 regional projects are being implemented on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan. In 2020, within the framework of the regional projects “Improvement of the Volga” and “Clean Country”, 10 treatment facilities, 2 storm sewers are being built, and 2 landfills are planned to be reclaimed.
For the implementation of the regional project “Forests Conservation in the Republic of Tatarstan’ in 2020, 197.7 million rubles were allocated for measures of reforestation and afforestation in the Republic of Tatarstan, the purchase of specialized equipment for carrying out a set of measures to protect forests from fires, the purchase of equipment for equipping institutions for reforestation and afforestation.
Also, the Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilshat Gimayev spoke about the readiness of facilities, as part of the measures of state programs to create additional places for children aged 1.5 to 3 years in preschool education organizations, promote the employment of women, create conditions for preschool education for children under 3 years of age as part of implementation of the national project “Demography”. In 2020, 12 preschool educational institutions for 2,760 places are under construction in the Republic.
Within the framework of the meeting, the participants discussed organizational issues for the launch of the 1st stage of the republican contest “National project “Ecology” - children's view” and the republican photo contest “National projects: Tatarstan-2020” in order to popularize and attract the attention of the population of the republic to implementation of national projects. Municipalities of the Republic were encouraged to actively apply for these contests.
