New opportunities on promotion of products to the Russian and foreign markets, expansion of sales channels, reduction of transport and logistics costs through the entry of goods from local suppliers to online trading platforms are opening up for the producers of the republic. This year, the Ministry of Economy, together with major representatives of the e-commerce market, held 6 training webinars, in which more than 7 thousand Tatarstan entrepreneurs took part.

E-commerce allows small and medium-sized businesses to start working without a sales history and regardless of market share. At the same time, placement on the marketplace is much easier than in federal retail chains, which makes it possible to present a wider range of products than on store shelves.

Examples of successful practices of Tatarstan entrepreneurs were presented at the opening of the Wildberries distribution center held in Zelenodolsk last week. Self-employed residents of the republic, individual entrepreneurs and limited liability companies sell various types of goods on online platforms: food, clothing, household goods. For example, Selection Food company is engaged in the production of date sweets with coconut and sesame seeds Dr. Finik and sells them through the site of Tatiana Bakalchuk. Self-employed L.R. Bazukova signed up for Wildberries during the self-isolation regime and has since been selling handmade ceramics through the site.

This year, the Ministry of Economy, together with major representatives of the e-commerce market - Wildberries and Ozon - held 6 training webinars aimed at building a business on marketplaces and studying tools for promoting and introducing goods to sites. More than 7 thousand Tatarstan entrepreneurs took part in them.

Training events are aimed at minimizing the difficulties that entrepreneurs face at the initial stage of working with online retailers - the availability of the necessary certificates and permits, promotion strategies, issues of ensuring the delivery of goods to the marketplace, price control. Also, webinars allow SMEs to understand the technical nuances of the work of a personal account and the rules of sites in terms of product packaging.

To assist small and medium-sized businesses that sell products through electronic distribution channels, in addition to regular educational events, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan provides services for the promotion and certification of products placed on trading sites. The measures were included in the new republican package of support measures aimed at restoring and reviving the economy of Tatarstan.

In particular, Tatarstan manufacturers are provided with a free service for certification of their own production for an amount of not more than 300 thousand rubles, and they also have access to a service for free promotion of goods on online platforms for up to 100 thousand rubles. You can apply for financial measures in the Entrepreneurship Support Fund subordinate to the Ministry of Economy, at the address: Peterburgskaya str., 28. Consultation on all measures of support for business in force in the Republic is available by phone: 8 (843) 524-90-90.
