Minister of Economy met with business representatives of Zelenodolskiy district
Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov paid a working visit to Zelenodolskiy district. He visited Zelenodolsk Design Bureau, Joint-Stock Company, met with the labor collective of the enterprise, visited the M7 industrial park, discussed with residents the issues of supporting small and medium-sized businesses.
Before visiting the production facilities, the Minister of Economy went to the gymnasium No. 5, where the school holiday “Day of Knowledge” took place today. Midkhat Shagiakhmetov greeted the pupils, congratulated on the holiday and read the address of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
After the completion of the celebratory assembly, the Minister visited Zelenodolsk Design Bureau AO and met with the labor collective. The company has been successfully operating for over 70 years. During this period, the bureau developed more than 70 projects of ships of various design schemes. The inventors of the enterprise have received over 300 copyright certificates and patents, have mastered new computer design technologies. At a meeting with the labor collective, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov highly appreciated the work of the employees of Zelenodolsk Design Bureau AO, noted their professionalism and striving for development. Thanks to the well-coordinated work of the team, in the first half of 2020, the enterprise managed to ship goods of its own production for 159.2 million rubles, which is 1.5 times more than in the same period last year.
Then the Minister visited the Vasilievsky glass plant. At a meeting with the management of the enterprise and the Head of the Zelenodolskiy district, Mikhail Afanasyev, prospects for the further development of this territory and enterprise were discussed.
As part of the visit, the Minister examined the M7 industrial park. Here Midkhat Shagiakhmetov visited the Multiplast enterprise, which specializes in the production and sale of decking, facade panels made of wood-polymer composite. During the meeting, issues of state support for business were discussed.
After that, the Minister visited the Volzhanin plant, which is one of the leading Russian manufacturers of equipment for welding polyethylene pipes. Within the framework of the meeting, a new investment project was presented. The resident plans to launch mass production of a self-propelled sprayer for use in agriculture.
At the end, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov got acquainted with the Avalon Production company, which produces high quality hosiery. Issues of further export support of the enterprise were discussed at the meeting.
