On November 1, implementation of the program on concessional lending at 2%, aimed at supporting employment, comes to its end. The program demonstrates high demand among Tatarstan entrepreneurs, whose activities are classified as sectors of the economy affected by the pandemic. As of the end of last week, banks issued 6,279 loans worth 13.5 billion rubles.
A number of traditional meetings of the working group on implementation of the Action Plan to ensure sustainable development of the republic's economy took place in the videoconferencing regime last week. The meetings were devoted to issues of ensuring the financial stability of municipalities, changes in legislative regulation in the field of control and supervisory activities, as well as new support measures at the federal level.
In 2020, it is planned to allocate 31.6 billion rubles for implementation of national projects in the Republic of Tatarstan. 23.1 billion rubles of these will be allocated from the federal budget, 8.5 billion rubles - from the budget of the republic.

The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan announces the end of accepting applications from October 13, 2020 under the program “Interest rate subsidizing”, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan No. 875 dated September 28, 2020.
During the pandemic, the Ministry of Economy in the Republic of Tatarstan launched a package of measures aimed at supporting entrepreneurs not covered by federal programs. In addition, at the moment the republic is facing the task of restoring the economy at the expense of priority sectors, for which, starting from August 24, an additional package of support measures was launched, designed to stimulate and revive the region's economy.
On October 23 at 5:00 pm the results of the “Exporter of the Year” competition will be summed up at the House of Entrepreneur. The event will be attended by exporting enterprises, small and medium-sized businesses that entered into export contracts in 2019.
The manufacturer of hockey sticks from Naberezhnye Chelny, ZaryaD, is planning to take part in an exhibition in Munich. Assistance in organizing participation will be provided by a subordinate institution of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan - the Export Support Center of the Entrepreneurship Support Fund.
Currently there are 7 single-industry towns on the territory of Tatarstan, in which more than a million inhabitants live, this is a quarter of the economically active population of the republic. New opportunities for their development have appeared thanks to support programs of the Single-industry Towns Development Fund (МОНОГОРОДА.РФ).
On October 1, in Tatarstan, as well as throughout the country, implementation of the program of concessional loans at 0%, aimed at paying employees during the pandemic and the crisis caused by it, was completed. In the republic, this anti-crisis support for 6 months of its implementation was used by 1,159 entrepreneurs, which allowed them to attract credit funds in the amount of 3.1 billion rubles.
Self-employed citizens are beginning to play an increasingly important role in the economy. This year their number in the republic in relation to the last year indicator has grown by 30% and amounted to 88,070 people.
