The Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, subordinate to the Ministry of Economy of the region, provided more than 400 guarantees to small and medium-sized businesses in 2021, which exceeded the volume of guarantees issued in 2020 by 18%. The total amount of guarantees provided amounted to more than 1.8 billion rubles, the volume of loans attracted under the guarantee exceeded 8.2 billion rubles.

The Republic of Tatarstan took the second place in the implementation of the components of the competition development standard in the subjects of the Russian Federation.

On January 13, a strategic session on the creation of a coworking with collective access equipment for the self-employed of the republic was held at the Entrepreneur's House. At the end of 2021, the number of people employed in the SME sector in the Republic of Tatarstan, including sole proprietors and self-employed, exceeded 780 thousand people. At the same time, the number of self-employed themselves has overcome the mark of 169 thousand. Along with the growth in the number of payers of the "Professional Income Tax" in the region, an increase in their gross total income was recorded – during the period of the special tax regime, the self-employed of Tatarstan earned 40.6 billion rubles.
