The volume of state guarantees provided to the business of the Republic of Tatarstan increased by 18%

The Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, subordinate to the Ministry of Economy of the region, provided more than 400 guarantees to small and medium-sized businesses in 2021, which exceeded the volume of guarantees issued in 2020 by 18%. The total amount of guarantees provided amounted to more than 1.8 billion rubles, the volume of loans attracted under the guarantee exceeded 8.2 billion rubles.

Republican entrepreneurs received guaranteed support with a minimum amount of remuneration from 0.5% to 1% per annum of the amount of the guarantee.

In addition, the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan last year launched several preferential products for small and medium-sized businesses – "Agro-drought", "Industrial Development", "Guaranteed export", "Support 2021" and "Restructuring".

The product "Support" was launched in 2021 in response to new anti-weed restrictions. The maximum amount of the Guarantee Fund's guarantee under the program is up to 50 million rubles, the commission fee for the provided guarantee is reduced by 2 times (compared to the standard one) - up to 0.5%, and the possibility of deferring payment of remuneration for 6 months is also provided.

It should be noted that this preferential product can be used by SMEs whose activities are limited by the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan dated 19.03.2020 No. 208 "On measures to prevent the spread of a new coronavirus infection in the Republic of Tatarstan".

Another area of the Fund's activity is the Unified Lending Center (hereinafter referred to as the ECC). The center helps entrepreneurs to choose a profitable loan product, collect a package of documents and send an application to financial organizations. By the end of 2021, ECC specialists consulted more than 1,100 entrepreneurs, which allowed them to attract 498 million rubles of credit funds.

The largest number of appeals to the ECC came from small and medium-sized businesses from the cities of Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny and Zelenodolsk district of the republic.
