17 January 2022, Monday

On January 13, a strategic session on the creation of a coworking with collective access equipment for the self-employed of the republic was held at the Entrepreneur's House. The meeting was moderated by First Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Sibgatullin. The event was also attended by Deputy Head of the Executive Committee of Kazan Ildar Shakirov, Director General of the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan Aidar Salikhov and others.

In his opening speech, Rustem Sibgatullin recalled that in 2021, for the first time in Tatarstan, in order to create favorable conditions for the development of the self–employed, a subsidy program was implemented - 305 people received subsidies from the state for the purchase of equipment in the amount of up to 200 thousand rubles, but not everyone could benefit from support from the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, the program budget was limited.

In order to further improve support measures under the new tax regime, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan proposes to create coworking spaces for the self-employed in 2022, where collective use equipment will be located. Thus, aspiring entrepreneurs facing a shortage of equipment and space would be able to solve their problems. At the strategic session with the self-employed, the need for such premises was discussed.

Self-employed people were invited to the event - confectioners, photographers, artisans, beauty workers. They expressed opinions and suggestions on the issue of creating modern premises with state-owned equipment. It is worth noting that the self-employed perceived the idea proposed by the Ministry positively. The idea was expressed by the self-employed that such preferential premises could be convenient, for example, for holding meetings with customers and organizing various events. Meetings with SMEs are held on a regular basis in order to receive feedback from small businesses.
