This year, 1.2 billion rubles will be allocated in the Republic of Tatarstan for the implementation of the national project "Small and medium-sized entrepreneurship and support for individual entrepreneurial initiative". A similar amount of funding was provided in 2021.
In the past year, federal projects as part of the national SME project have undergone significant changes. This year, these changes have been preserved – the development of entrepreneurship has been formed in federal projects in three directions: support for the self-employed, support for start-up entrepreneurs (pre-acceleration) and development of existing entrepreneurs (acceleration).
1. "Creating favorable conditions for self-employed citizens to carry out their activities":
Within the framework of the project, microloans at a preferential rate, guarantees, as well as information and consulting services will be provided to self-employed residents of Tatarstan on the basis of the My Business center.
2. "Creating conditions for an easy start and comfortable business" (pre-acceleration):
The project's activities are aimed at supporting start-up entrepreneurs. Within the framework of the project, measures will be implemented to provide social entrepreneurs included in the register with financial support in the form of grants, ensuring the provision of comprehensive services, providing comprehensive financial and guarantee support to aspiring entrepreneurs (microloans, guarantees).
3. "Acceleration of small and medium-sized businesses of the Republic of Tatarstan"
The project is designed to develop an existing business and involves the provision of comprehensive financial and guarantee support, namely: preferential leasing, preferential microloans, subsidizing the cost of paying interest rates, the cost of food and food delivery, the provision of comprehensive services, support for export-oriented small and medium-sized businesses, the development of industrial sites.
It should be noted that the national project, as well as federal and regional mechanisms of targeted business support are aimed at preserving the activities of entrepreneurs and maintaining employment. Thus, thanks to business support measures, by the end of 2021, the number of people employed in the SME sector, including sole proprietors and self-employed, exceeded 780 thousand people.
