RT Minister of Economy Midhat Shagiakhmetov takes part in the Gaidar Forum-2022

On January 13, in Moscow, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midhat Shagiakhmetov took part in a meeting of the general meeting of the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia, which was chaired by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov within the XIII Gaidar Forum "Russia and the World: Priorities".

Members of the Council of the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia were elected at the meeting, and the annual report on the results of the Association's work for the previous period was heard and approved.

The Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation Irek Fayzullin spoke at the meeting, discussing a number of issues with regional leaders in preparation for the meeting of the State Council Commission on Construction, Housing and Communal Services and the urban environment.

The Association of Innovative Regions of Russia was established in 2010 to promote the effective innovative development of the participating regions. The Republic of Tatarstan has been a member of the AIRR since the first days of its formation. 

Over the years, the Association has established itself as an effective communication platform, within which topical problems of the regions are raised and ways to solve them are discussed. Federal executive authorities, development institutions, relevant ministries and departments are actively involved in working with the Association. The Republic of Tatarstan always takes an active part in all projects and initiatives of the Association, including legislative activities and interregional exchange of experience.

The Gaidar Forum is an expert discussion platform where the priorities facing the state for the current year, prospects for further economic growth, trends and challenges of socio-economic development, the state of the business environment and investment climate are discussed.
