Self-employed people of Tatarstan sold their own products worth 2.5 million rubles at a specialized fair
More than 2.5 million rubles were earned by the self-employed of the republic for 3 fair days dedicated to the Day of Russian Entrepreneurship. 135 self-employed people from all over Tatarstan participated in the fair. They received free trading places from the state thanks to the national project "Small and medium-sized enterprises".
"The organization of fairs dedicated to large-scale events remains one of the most sought-after support measures for our self-employed. The festive program attracts guests and provides traffic to potential buyers - thousands of guests visited the fair during the three days of operation. The most purchased products were jewelry made of natural stone, products made of epoxy resin, as well as street food, which the self-employed prepared at the fair site in specially equipped food trucks," shared the first Deputy Minister of Economy of the regionNatalia Kondratova.
The Deputy Minister of Economy also noted that the Government of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan annually hold such large-scale fairs under the brand "I am Tatarstan". Applications are currently being accepted for the fair dedicated to the Children's Day. This format helps the self-employed to talk about themselves and their business, to find new clients and like-minded people. Participation is free for them.
According to her, today there are over 330 thousand self-employed citizens in Tatarstan. The region actively supports start-up entrepreneurs within the framework of the national project "Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurship" by implementing a set of programs - preferential microloans, participation in exhibitions, training programs to promote products on marketplaces, social networks, project development and scaling, and other measures.
Let us recall that support for the self-employed in the Republic of Tatarstan is being implemented by the Ministry of Economy of the region within the framework of the national project "Small and Medium-sized Enterprises", which was initiated by the President of Russia.
