On April 1, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov introduced the new head of the Guarantee Fund subordinated to the Ministry of Economy – Rustem Mukhamedshin.

Since last year, a catalog of small and medium-sized businesses with "Social Enterprise" status has been formed in Russia. Inclusion in the register provides businesses with access to support measures and other services provided for social entrepreneurs. You must apply for recognition of the status by May 1, 2021. 

As part of the implementation of "Creating favorable conditions for self-employed citizens" federal project, which is a part of the "Small and medium-sized enterprises and support for individual entrepreneurial initiative" national project, AO "MSP" Corporation" with the participation of the Federal Tax Service of Russia developed a specialized training module for self-employed citizens and persons planning to become them: "Self-employment: user manual".

The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan has optimized the terms of providing services for licensing activities for the procurement, storage, processing and sale of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap.

By the end of 2021, self-employed citizens will have the opportunity to apply for a preferential loan using the unified portal of public services. The order was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

All four submitted projects received a positive assessment from the members of the Investment Council of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The Ministry of Economy held a meeting with representatives of PAO Sberbank. On the agenda of the meeting were actions to support entrepreneurs of Tatarstan, the possibility of opening a company branch Sber-Solutions in the republic, as well as improving the efficiency of large and medium-sized companies.

Since March 9, a new preferential loan program at 3% has been launched throughout the country. Its aim is to restore business from the affected industries and further maintain employment in these areas. At the moment, 328 applications for the total amount of 1.013 billion rubles have been received from entrepreneurs of the republic under the "FOT 3.0" program.

The Russian Export Center (REC) has been hosting Russian entrepreneurs at its national pavilion on one of the largest retail marketplaces in China since 2019 – Tmall.com. For the period from November 2019 to December 2020, the sales of the national pavilion amounted to 269.7 million rubles, it hosted the products of 93 Russian companies from 32 regions of the Russian Federation. The pavilion is represented by food products, 87% of which are confectionery products (chocolate, chocolate candies, waffles, cakes). The minimum placement package costs 510 thousand rubles. But the Export Support Center will be able to fully pay your expenses from July; the main thing is to have time to submit an application before 29.04.2021.

The Orenburg region became the 5th region of the country where the digital platform of useful knowledge and services on control and supervisory work for entrepreneurs "Proven Business" was launched. The project from Tatarstan, created with the support of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan became a finalist of "Strong Ideas for a New Time" forum, organized by the SIA and the Roscongress Foundation, within the framework of the forum, the project was also highly noted by the country's leadership.
