Tatarstan practice "Proven business" is replicated in five regions of the country

The Orenburg region became the 5th region of the country where the digital platform of useful knowledge and services on control and supervisory work for entrepreneurs "Proven Business" was launched. The project from Tatarstan, created with the support of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan became a finalist of "Strong Ideas for a New Time" forum, organized by the SIA and the Roscongress Foundation, within the framework of the forum, the project was also highly noted by the country's leadership.

The key objective of the "Proven Business" project is to reduce administrative pressure on small businesses, prevent violations of supervisory requirements, and promote self-employment. The project provides an opportunity to receive free information and consulting assistance on the current legal framework in the field of entrepreneurship and control and supervisory activities, including expert explanations and application instructions in these areas.

Thanks to the interactive feedback module implemented on the portal, entrepreneurs of the regions where the service is implemented can express their opinion on the results of the audit, which allows the business to receive high-quality support for interaction with supervisory authorities, and the management of the subject to promptly respond to the requests of the business community.

"Prevention of violations of supervisory requirements is an integral part of the reform of control and supervisory activities. Thanks to the integrated approach implemented on "Proven Business" portal, entrepreneurs can independently recognize and promptly eliminate violations of mandatory requirements, which reduces the financial burden on small businesses in the form of fines. In addition, the portal allows for detection of systemic problems and issues that entrepreneurs face when interacting with the inspection authorities and minimize or eliminate them later," said the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov.

Users of the "Proven Business" can also improve their "supervisory" literacy online for free, pass a pre-verification audit and get recommendations on the types of control and supervisory checks. The project includes a reference book of typical violations, checklists for self-checks and a large section for the self-employed with ready-made forms of documents necessary for doing business in this status, and it is available for download.

As a reminder: "Proven Business" was launched at the instruction of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in 2017. More than 120 thousand entrepreneurs have already used the resource's useful knowledge base. More than 12 thousand requests came in on free phone number of the project expert office call center. The resource is in demand outside the republic – more than half of the site's visitors are from other regions of the country. The proven business has already been replicated in the Republic of Mordovia, the Khabarovsk Territory, the Belgorod and Novgorod Regions. More than 5 thousand businessmen from all over the country are registered on the service platform.
