On April 1, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov introduced the new head of the Guarantee Fund subordinated to the Ministry of Economy – Rustem Mukhamedshin.
Rustem Mukhamedshin graduated from the Kazan Financial and Economic Institute with a degree in Finance and Credit and began his career as an economist in commercial organizations. Then he moved to the Tax Authority of the Republic of Tatarstan, where he worked in various managerial positions for more than 20 years.
Rustem Mukhamedshin is an honored economist of the Republic of Tatarstan, an honorary employee of the Federal Tax Service of Russia, has various state and departmental awards.
The Minister of Economy noted the high professionalism of Mr. Mukhamedshin and wished him success and achievements in his new position.
The main task facing the new head of the Fund remains unchanged – the development of a system of guarantees and collaterals for the obligations of small and medium-sized businesses and organizations that form the infrastructure for supporting SME, based on credit agreements and bank guarantee agreements.
