The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan discussed the preparation of draft legal acts for the implementation of federal laws regulating control and supervisory activities at the federal and regional levels.

The Minister of Economic Development of Russia Maxim Reshetnikov and President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a working meeting, during which they discussed issues of socio-economic development of the region. The main topics for discussion were the development of investment activities in the region within the framework of the special economic zones "Alabuga" and "Innopolis", as well as infrastructure support for investment projects. During the meeting, the parties also discussed issues of support for the development of agglomerations and single-industry towns, and issues of territorial planning.

From July 1, 2021, a procedure for mandatory pre-trial appeal of decisions of supervisory authorities will be introduced for certain types of control determined by the Russian Government. From January 1, 2023, it will begin to be gradually implemented for all types of controls that are regulated by the law on state control. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister of Russia – Head of the Government Staff Dmitry Grigorenko at a meeting dedicated to the implementation of a pilot experiment in this area.

Members of the working group, consisting of representatives of ABSA and municipalities of the republic, discussed the development of export activities of SME in Tatarstan.
