In 2021, in order to create favorable conditions for the self-employed of the Republic, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan on behalf of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov launched a program to provide subsidies for the self-employed.

On December 15-16, 2021, representatives of the Federal Corporation for the Development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SME Corporation) with the support of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan will hold a strategic session dedicated to the implementation of state support measures for small and medium-sized companies in the Republic of Tatarstan.

In 2021, new equipment and training facilities were purchased for the "Point of Growth" centers located in 114 educational organizations of Tatarstan. 175 million rubles were allocated for these purposes under the national project "Education". This year, in order to stimulate social entrepreneurship in the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Economy of the region launched a grant support program for socially oriented business. 23 entrepreneurs of the republic, according to the results of the competitive selection, will receive gratuitous subsidies in the amount of up to 500 thousand rubles.

From July 1, 2022, a new simplified tax regime will be launched for micro and small entrepreneurs, the purpose of which will be to reduce the burden on business and help free up resources for development. One of the pilot regions for the introduction of the regime will be the Republic of Tatarstan.

As part of the implementation of the program "Provision of subsidies from the budget of the Republic of Tatarstan to individuals applying the special tax regime "Professional income tax" in order to financially support the costs associated with the implementation of professional activities", a total of 476 applications were accepted.

The implementation of legislation in the field of development of small and medium-sized businesses and municipal industrial sites was discussed today at a traditional press conference in the State Council. Chairman of the Committee on Economy, Investment and Entrepreneurship Lutfulla Shafigullin, Deputy of the State Council Marat Galeev and First Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan – Director of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Competition Rustem Sibgatullin answered journalists' questions.

Within the framework of the International Anti-Corruption Day, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan organized an exhibition of children's creativity "Children against Corruption!"

From November 30 to December 16, 2021, Tatarstan, as well as whole Russia, hosts an annual online financial literacy test. The organizers are the Bank of Russia and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives. Representatives of the business community can also test their knowledge and get personal recommendations.
