Deputy of Minister of Economy - Mr. Bulat Khaziakhmetov took part in the final collegium of the State Committee of RT for tariffs

The final collegium of State Committee for RT tariffs "On main results of activities of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan (RT) in respect of  tariffs in 2016 and targets for 2017" was held on February, 2017.

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Mr. Ildar Khalikov, Deputy of State Duma Mr. Alexander Sidyakin, Secretary of Security Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Mr. Airat Shafigullin, Deputy Chairman of State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Mr. Yuri Kamaltynov, Deputy Minister of Economy Mr. Bulat  Khaziakhmetov and others took part in the event.

The main speaker was Chairman of State Committee for tariffs of the Republic of Tatarstan - Mr. Marat Zaripov. He noted that in 2016 more than 9 thousand of tariff decisions and over 129 thousand indicators of regional standards for housing and communal services payments were adopted.

"During establishing tariffs the State Committee accounted only the economically justified expenditures of the enterprises. The aggregate economic effect from tariffs state regulation, i.e. the amount , by which the State Committee reduced the costs for regulated enterprises during taking tariff decisions amounts to 18 bln RUB ", – told the Chairman in his report.

Then Mr. Alexander Sidyakin made a report on the estimated changes in the legislation, followed by Mr. Rifnur Suleymanov, Director of JSC Tatenergosbyt who shared the business results and Deputies of CEOs of OJSC Setevaya Kompaniya and LLC Osinov Heat Supply Company - Mrs. Natalya Nazarova and Mr. Andrey Niyasov respectively. 

Please be reminded that the actions on transferring facilities of housing and utilities’ infrastructure of all state and municipal enterprises with inefficient governance into operation by private operators based on concessionary agreements, have been included into the approved road map for promotion competition within framework of implementation of the Standard for Competition Development. 

The Standard for Competition Development is purposed for creating conditions for competition development on the regional markets of goods and services, work transparency of the regional power authorities, generation of drivers for protecting the subjects of small and medium entrepreneurship and elimination of administrative barriers. 

Pursuant to the Direction of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan No. 799-р dd. May 6, 2014 the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan is an authorized executive body in the Republic of Tatarstan in respect of promoting competitorship in RT.
