The educational seminar was held on January 30-31 on the course “Leadership”, presented by Mr. Richard Jolly - Professor of the London Business School (London Business School).

The Ministry of Economy of the Repubic of Tatarstan jointly with the Higher Business School (KFU) arranged a two-day educational seminar for three groups of listeners on topics “Government”, “Business” and “Science” with participation of Mr.  Richard Jolly - Professor of the London Business School.

Mr. Richard Jolly, the Associate Professor for issues of organizational behavior at the London Business School is one of the world's leading experts in the field of leadership. In the London Business School the Professor teaches such subjects as “Leadership”, “People and company governance” , “The path to power” and etc. Mr. Richard Jolly was repeatedly acknowledged as the best teacher of the London Business School. He actively cooperates with such international companies as Barclays, Carlsberg, Clariant, Danone, Deutsche Bank, Ernst & Young, IBM, Kuwait Petroleum, Linklaters, Lufthansa, Nestle, Nordea, Orascom, Procter Gamble &, PwC, Roche, SABIC, Sberbank, Telenor, the World Economic Forum.

The seminar was focused at assessing the level of leadership theory and evaluation of the level of interaction between the leaders of the authorities of the Republic of Tatarstan, the leading representatives of educational and scientific community, as well as the representatives of the Republic’s leading enterprises.

The honored guest noted the peculiarities of modern leadership and gave examples.  Mr. Richard Jolly discussed in detail the relations in collectives between employees and management. The lecturer also showed on examples that such quality as leadership, varied depending on the generation. At the end of the lecture the Professor answered questions from the audience.
